I didn't realize I had hail damage on my roof until Nic from DC Generals Roofing knocked on my door and informed me of the recent hail storm. They did a free roof inspection and discovered the damage was significant enough to open a claim with my homeowners insurance. They met with my insurance adjustor and helped get me approved. I now have an amazing new roof that’s good for the next 40 years! Only cost was my deductible.
Our roof had been damaged due to high winds. Jack came out and performed an inspection. He provided a detailed report showing the damage that had occurred. Nic worked with us and the insurance to get this matter resolved. Both Jack and Nic met with our insurance inspector. Jack was spot on with his analysis. Our insurance company was in agreement. As the crew came out to begin the work they were highly professional and took care to protect the front of the house and the deck as they removed the old shingles. We are so happy with our new architectural shingles (weathered wood in color). We would highly recommend giving Jack and Nic at D.C. Generals a chance.
I m so glad I ran into Brian! He was going door to door in our neighborhood. He knocked on our door and asked if we wanted a roof inspection. I said, "why not." Turns out the high winds we had recently did a bunch of damage to our roof that was not visible from the ground. He said, "we were a great candidate for an insurance claim." The damage was confirmed by our insurance company and couple days later our roof was scheduled to be replaced. Brian kept us informed the entire time. I am so thankful for a beautiful, brand new roof that would have cost me 90% more then simply paying my insurance deductible.
